The pink Honda Fit is stocked with materials and resources for women who are interested in learning more about the early signs of breast cancer and how to schedule a mammogram through St. Dominic’s cancer center. The pink Fit is also providing fun, as citizens are able to sign the car in honor, memory, or support of a breast cancer patient, victim, or survivor.

The Women’s Health Center at St. Dominic’s Hospital in Jackson, MS is also sponsoring the Drive to Inspire Promotion, encouraging women to take time to “Fit in a Mammogram.” Aside for skin cancer, breast cancer is the most common cancer among women. According to the American Cancer Society, an estimated 192,370 new cases of invasive breast cancer are expected to be diagnosed among women in the United States last year. Experts urge women to get an annual mammogram beginning at age 40 in order to prevent and detect breast cancer.

Jackson, MS Honda dealer Paul Moak Honda announces the 2010 Honda Fit topped the list of new-car best values according to Consumer Reports’ 2010 Annual Auto Issue.  The magazine chose the Honda Fit as its top pick for best overall value in the marketplace.  Consumer Reports says the Honda Fit bested 280 other cars in eight different categories to grab the top spot. The better a car performs in Consumer Reports’ road tests and reliability Ratings and the less it costs to own, the greater its value.  “A low price doesn’t always equal a good value,” said Rik Paul, automotive editor at Consumer Reports. “Our best value list can help consumers choose a car that will give them the best bang for the buck.”
